Are you just starting out on your witchcraft journey and suspect that you may be a Crystal Witch? In this post we’ll explore some common signs of this path!
1. You collect rocks
This one is a no-brainer. If you cannot seem to lift your head during walks in fear of missing out on a pretty, shiny, cool looking rock that NEEDS to be a part of your collection, then yup – you’re probably a Crystal Witch. While I do not label myself exclusively as a Crystal Witch (I identify as Eclectic) I often catch myself doing this.
2. You see auras
A big reason why you are attracted to those pretty, shiny rocks is that you naturally pick up on vibrational frequencies. As such, extending this gift to being able to see auras is pretty typical for a Crystal Witch. To take this gift even further, you can eventually incorporate chosen crystals to develop your ability to read auras.
3. You feel energies
Every living thing puts out vibrational frequencies. While you may not be able to see them (i.e. auras) you can feel them. Or you may be able to do both! As such, working with crystals comes naturally to you and simply makes sense.
4. You love making crystal grids

There are ancient sacred geometric grids that have been put into practice by Crystal Witches for centuries. These grids were built upon energetic patterns to amplify and strengthen chosen crystals for an end goal.
These patterned grids emit an energetic vibration and powerful frequency that can be absorbed by our environment and ourselves. By altering our environmental energy and pattern, we have the ability of transformation.
A big sign that you are a Crystal Witch is your love of building your own crystal grids. You could do this through following sacred geometric grids or constructing ones of your own design. You feel supercharged and connected when creating crystal grids.
5. You are fascinated by the metaphysical properties of crystals
Learning just what that beautiful Lapis Lazuli can offer your spiritual growth or what power that amazing Citrine holds absolutely captivates you. Your lust for knowledge of those shiny stones is never satiated.
6. You love to give others crystals to help with their issues
We all seem to know that one witch who relishes in gifting crystals to others. I know several! In my experience, Crystal Witches are some of the most joyful practitioners I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Their unwavering belief in the power of crystals is inspiring and contagious. 7. You are picky about the jewelry you wear
Granted, this sign is more general and can be applied to people who aren’t practitioners at all. Having said that, Crystal Witches tend to be extremely picky about not only the kind of jewelry they wear, but how they wear it. Ring magick, for instance, applies to wearing particular rings on particular fingers in order to attract or deflect certain energies.
I know that I have multiple necklaces with different stones, metals, and amulets that I choose to wear on specific occasions – and not just to match an outfit.
