Answer a Witchcraft Question from Google #4

Bright Blessings Witches, Witchlings, and Witchlets! Welcome to the fourth installment of the Answer a Witchcraft Question from Google. I, the Resident Witch of both Printable Witchcraft and Candle Cross Coven, will tackle these questions. Let’s get into it.

“Why do Witches give their children lemons before they leave for school?”

LEMONS IN WITCHCRAFT

Lemons may be bitter, but no so much when it comes to witchcraft. This fruit is typically used for:

  • Purification
  • Cleansing
  • Lunar Rituals
  • Honoring Lunar Deities
  • Love Spells
  • Kitchen Magick
  • Countering Magickal Attacks
  • Repelling the Evil Eye

WHY WOULD WITCHES GIVE THEIR CHILDREN LEMONS BEFORE THEY LEAVE FOR SCHOOL?

That all depends on the Witch’s intention now, doesn’t it? Without the specifics, it’s hard to say. Perhaps the practitioner is a Kitchen Witch and she lovingly made her children lemon bars with a sigil of protection baked into the crust. Or maybe they offered their kids some lemonade to honor a lunar deity. To shirk the Evil Eye, the Witch could have performed a cleansing ritual using lemons.

Without any details, it really is difficualt to answer this question. But as you can see, lemons are a rather positive magickal botanical that any Witch would do well to have in their arsenal.

IN CONCLUSION…

Another day, another witchcraft question answered. What do you think? Have you heard of any other reasons that Witches may give their children lemons before school? Let me know in the comments. And as always, Bright Blessings and Happy Crafting!
